Wrylie ("we", "us") operates the website wrylie.ai, a landing page for our upcoming AI-first video editing product. For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@wrylie.ai.

2. What we collect

When you join our early-access waitlist, we collect:

• Email address — the address you enter in the sign-up form.
• Sign-up context — which form you used, the date and time of submission, your browser type (user agent), the page that referred you to us, and campaign tags (UTM parameters) if you arrived via a marketing link.

We do not collect names, payment details, or any other personal information, and we do not use tracking cookies. Our website analytics (Vercel Analytics) are cookieless and aggregate — they do not identify individual visitors.

3. Why we collect it

We use your email address solely to notify you about Wrylie early access and product launch updates. We use sign-up context to understand which channels bring visitors to us. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give by submitting the form. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Who processes your data

Your data is handled by the following service providers acting on our behalf:

• Formspree — form submission processing (privacy policy).
• Vercel — website hosting and cookieless analytics (privacy policy).

These providers may store data on servers in the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or the waitlist is no longer needed — whichever comes first. Every email we send includes a way to opt out.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@wrylie.ai — we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

Our website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has submitted their email, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be announced by email to waitlist members.
